Isadore
Isadore schrijft:
Uit het duurzaamheidsrapport van 2023:
We’ve removed 300 kg of virgin plastics from our production process
For the first time, we’re producing more products from recycled materials than virgin plastics: 1588 kg of recycled materials, 1522 kg of virgin plastics.
100% of bibs and tights made in 2023 use recycled face fabric and bio-foam for the chamois.
We’re working with more Bluesign and Higg Certified factories than ever before
59.61% of our factories are either Bluesign or Higg certified, and we’re actively looking to grow that number in 2024.
We’ve minimized our packaging and labelling, and now it’s 100% recycled or compostable
– 7500 hangtags from 265 kg of recycled paper
– 1450 envelopes from 80 kg of recycled paper
– 6500 fully compostable bags
Custom goes fully recyclable
We updated our custom program to include only recycled materials. Now there are 1283 riders in the world, repping their clubs, teams or riding groups more sustainably.
We’re working hard to remove non-PWC-free DWR from our weatherproof products.
19 of our 25 products with DWR treatment now feature PWC free DWR C0. We’re working on the rest.
Almost all of our content was produced locally (locally to someone, not just to us!)
We only travelled by plane for two shoots this year, and the rest was either done locally to us in Central Europe, or to the 3 talented content teams we provided products to.
In 2024 we will:
– Use exclusively recycled zippers across all products
– Not place any orders for trims using virgin plastics
– Expand our Garment Recycling Program through our retailers
– Continue to be transparent about our processes by updating our traceability guide

ISADORE X BARRAKUZ COLLAB Introducing Beata Śliwińska, aka @barrakuz , a visual designer & digital artist based in Warsaw, Poland. We’ve wanted to work with Beata for a while and finally came up with the ideal project for our first collaboration. Our assignment to Beata was to visually capture the life-altering feeling and experience that’s associated with conquering some of the most famous bucket list climbs in the world of cycling. “For this project, I wanted to combine my digital skills with something more traditional, paper collage. The Sa Calobra and Stelvio projects were both rooted in traditional paper techniques.” Beata Barrakuz Head to Isadore.com for the full story and designs.
